Typically these are shown on the front page of a blog, but this has been modified to make this home page more static.  You can edit this (i.e. put the posts back on the front page such as we have on the Wilmington site) in the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Reading\u00e2\u20ac\u009d area of the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Settings\u00e2\u20ac\u009d tab, located in the upper right of the admin area.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wilmingtoncooperlibrary.org\/imagefiles\/sidebarimage002-200.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">You can also edit or delete the subtitle of the site (\u00e2\u20ac\u009dThe ___ Template Modified for a Starter Library Site\u00e2\u20ac\u009d) by editing the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Tagline\u00e2\u20ac\u009d field in the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153General Settings\u00e2\u20ac\u009d tab of the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Settings\u00e2\u20ac\u009d area.  The \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Blog Title\u00e2\u20ac\u009d field is where you would put the name of the site itself, such as \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Wilmington E. M. Cooper Memorial Public Library\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wilmingtoncooperlibrary.org\/imagefiles\/sidebarimage003-200.JPG\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Specific Details About This Theme<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<ul>\n<li> This theme is Diary Notes.  In the themes folder it has been modified and given the title LIBR Diary Notes.\u00c2\u00a0 It was designed as a dark theme, so that is why it is so dark brown.<\/li>\n<li>I have also made a modification that is less dark and more blue.\u00c2\u00a0 If you really like this them, we can play around with the colors a little bit to find something more attractive and less dark.<\/li>\n<li> There are 2 sidebars (smaller columns) with this theme.\u00c2\u00a0 Usually this is overkill for this kind of site, but by putting only an image or maybe very limited content in the center column this can be worked around, and can actually result in a less cluttered page.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 As a note, the image of the library can be forced lower in that column if desired.<\/li>\n<li> The header picture is easy to change to suit your library.\u00c2\u00a0 The title color will then be adjusted to show up well on the image and go well with the theme&#8217;s color scheme.<\/li>\n<li> The header menu can be edited or deleted.\u00c2\u00a0 Certain pages can be excluded from appearing, but it is better to plan your page structure well to make navigation easy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This page has been configured as the home page.
